Lincoln Dining Table

$1,175.00

The Lincoln Dining table is crafted from the original solid pine beams salvaged from the original Lincoln Motor Company Factory. Constructed in 1908 in Detroit’s New Center area, the historic factory was originally built for the Warren Motor Car Co. However, it was subsequently acquired by automaker Henry Leland and transformed into the inaugural Lincoln Motor Factory in 1917. Recognizing that the facility’s existing layout did not align with his requirements, Leland embarked on the construction of a 600,000-square-foot production plant for Lincoln at W. Warren and Livernois avenues.

The present factory houses Recycle Here!, a recycling center and drop-off facility established in 2007. The recycling center is situated within the Warren Motor Car Company Building, which is now part of the Dreamtroit complex. The building was inscribed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. Adjacent to the factory is the Lincoln Street Art Park, a sculpture garden featuring site-specific installations crafted from materials salvaged at Recycle Here!.
